Born and raised in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, it was always difficult to rivet any contemporary career that isn’t technology – IT in particular. Even in my early college years, Public Relations was always my long-term goal. Intrigued by this particular field, my passion to inherit both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject rapidly increased.

I received my Masters’ Degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University’s School of Professional Studies and Undergraduate Degree in Communications and Media from Christ University, Bangalore, India.

On an academic note, I chose this particular field of study because I believe in the optimal relationship between an organization and its public and the importance of being effective and unique when we need to say something. I love Public Relations and everything it has to offer from an organization standpoint to its relationship with the public. Bridging this gap while maintaining a healthy mutually beneficial rapport is crucial and a challenge. However, this cultivates responsibility, agreeableness, honesty, positivity, and establishes a healthy trust. One of my favorite things is writing with purpose and integrity fueling my aspirations to be a PR professional which will enhance and hone this specific skill as well.

On a personal note, apart from Public Relations, I am passionate about photography, travel, dogs, and wildlife. I am a quick learner and take pride and responsibility in whatever I do and speak. I am enthusiastic and passionate about my work, career goals and prepared to take on the opportunities that come my way.

I believe life lets us decide our choices and together with zest, zeal, and dedication, we set our priorities and lofty goals. As humans, we all encounter hardships and obstacles in that quest, but what matters the most of all in this journey is the climb.
